The protests and everything in the Bay area has been really really intense not anymore not in the present moment but at that time this was 2 weeks ago or so I’m kind of you know things blend together on the timeline right now cuz we’re in such interesting times but national guard was pulled in I mean it was really intense and so I just was on my phone and I kept seeing images of you know this protest and the gathering and the signs and just the response of just saying really addressing racism which I love that and I’m so supportive of that and I am excited for the conversation and I’m praying reform you know comes out of this but I was seeing the collective response especially from the younger generation because when I begin to see all the photos although multi-generations were represented in every race was represented at the protest it was predominantly younger generation and I felt instantly when I begin to just kind of connect those dots the Lord begin to show me said he just kind of dropped the statement into my spirit he said this is a Moses generation and then he went on to say remember how Moses he was born in the midst of a genocide he was more born in a time where his people were enslaved and he was born of a Hebrew people but he was raised by the Egyptian royal family and so he had a luxurious lifestyle he had a well-to-do lifestyle but the people that you know that were the same as him their blood was his blood you know he was a Hebrew he’s seen them enslaved and he’s seen them in captivity but the people that he calls mom dad aunt uncle brother and sister they’re the ones in slaming them so he’s this interesting paradox of really an identity crisis not quite knowing who he is or what he’s all about but he finds himself in this place where he recognizes he’s a deliverer he recognizes the call of you know there’s something in him let me let me put it I probably jumped too quick right there but let me back up he recognizes there’s something in him and so when he sees the Hebrew slave getting bullied by the Egyptian guard for those of us that do know the story of Moses without even thinking he goes and he intervenes and a verbal argument turns into a physical altercation he ends up killing the Egyptian guard in defense of the Hebrew slave that was being bullied basically and so I felt like the Lord was saying there is a justice thing within Moses but it was in its immature form it was in its unformed state it wasn’t in the fullness of the maturity of what God had put in him but it was real and it was God given it’s like he didn’t even know he but he had to intervene he he was compelled to respond to injustice he was compelled to to stand up for what was right and although in its immaturity it made a mess right when we’re in our immature form and all of us have things God’s put in us but they’re not mature yet and when we move from a place where things haven’t been developed surrendered or matured by the Lord often times we can make things a mess and we saw this and Moses’s life and we’ve seen even that in the present day issues we see a lot of people I think they have there were other hard-wired for justice God’s put justice in them and it’s God given and yet it’s in the immature unformed place in their life and so I look at the gatherings and the protest as a generation of Moses will fast forward Moses then put himself into exile into wilderness because into the wilderness because he knows because he killed the man obviously Pharaoh is going to want his head want his life so he flew for he fled for his life and he creates his whole other life and years passed by and you know he’s in the back of the desert and then God pursues him one day when he’s like okay I’ve heard the cries of my children the people that are in captivity they’re still enslaved they’re still in captivity and Moses you’re my deliverer and he comes and there’s this burning bush moment that is so powerful and I believe that’s the moment that that Moses shifts from being someone that carries a cry of justice which is awesome and important but more than that he shifts from just being someone that carries a cry for justice to actually being the deliverer and I feel like the Lord is really emphasizing that this generation has a cry for justice but they’re actually called to be delivers and a deliver happens after you’re burning bush encounter it has to have an encounter with God it has to have an encounter with the spirit and his presence there’s where the maturity comes there’s where the fullness of what you carry comes and I feel like that’s what’s so important is understanding because I think there’s people that have misinterpreted and this is my humble opinion but I feel like those people that have misinterpreted the protest and I look at it as a bunch of people that have that are so compelled because it’s literally who they were created to be to stand against injustice and what I’m excited about is God is raising up here’s the second part of what the Lord told me he’s raising up people to disciple and help the maturing process of this next generation so I felt like the Lord says I’m bringing people to bring discipleship and maturity to the Moses generation and an innocent kind of point them toward the burning bush encounter which is only going to come through God you know God’s going to do it but I do believe there’s a maturing and there is a discipling element that God’s going to bring some people where maybe there’s some leaders of present day that have been wonderful and and have had great impact but they’re going to begin to burn for this next generation like they never have and there’s going to begin to have a justice call within them that recognizing we love the cry of justice God loves justice justice is the foundation of his throne we love that but it has to be in the full version of the mature the maturity of what he’s designed for especially in this hour so that’s really the crux of what the Lord downloaded to me and it was just as I was looking at pictures I just thought you know how that happens you just can’t like this download and just come and then I just got so hopeful and excited because we’re in such a perfect place for God to just have a mighty outpouring and in the nations not just in America but the nations around the world we are in this perfect posture for an incredible outpouring so that’s what I’m excited about is I see a group of young people that God wants to use in an incredible way.
